Kyle Vandermolen

Kyle Vandermolen's most recent work was as a Technical Services Specialist at Solvay, a global leader in chemical science and processing technology. He began his career as a Chemicals Coordinator at a US Steel Corporation Coke Plant, where he was a front-line shift manager overseeing a crew of six union employees. He soon rose through the ranks to become Departmental Supervisor, in responsibility of supervising and coordinating the work of four shift managers and over 30 union personnel.

Mr. Vandermolen rejoined US Steel Corporation in 2013 as a Process Manager at the Granite City, IL. factory. He was in charge of the Process Safety Management (PSM) Program and the Isolation, Purging, and Reintroduction (IPR) Program, as well as organizing and preparing the right reaction to plant outages and chemical spills.

Kyle Vandermolen went on to work as a Facilities Process Engineer and Project Manager at Cathay Pigments. In this capacity, he assisted in the planning and implementation of a new color pigmentation range. Mr. Vandermolen was in charge of various facility renovation and expansion projects at the Valparaiso, IN plant.
